Microprocessor

Our Lupamat compressors use a microprocessor control system with LCD display, designed specifically for Lupamat, as standard. Many operations such as the operating status of the compressor, pressure and temperature values, maintenance times, malfunctions that stop and do not stop the engine, replacement times of bearings, oil, oil filter, air filter and separator filter element can be monitored on the microprocessor LCD screen. Microprocessor control units with remote monitoring feature are industry 4.0 compatible and meet all the required requirements.

Lupamat DHK PLUS and DHK PREMIUM series use Mitsubishi brand inverters in all screw compressor models.

Electric panel

As standard in the electrical control system of our screw compressors, motor starter contactors, auxiliary contactors, motor protection thermal relays, fuses, phase sequence protection relay with thermistor that controls the motor temperature and the direction of rotation of the screw block, transformer, etc. It is selected from CE certified brands. Electrical materials are MITSUBISHI brand.

Electric motor

Energy-saving insulation class F, IP 55 protected, IE3/IE4 efficient, CE certified asynchronous electric motors are used in our Lupamat screw compressors. In addition, new generation "Permanent Magnet Motor" technology is also used according to customer demands.

Oil Separation Tank

It separates the oil mixture coming from the compressor in two stages. The amount of oil remaining in the air separated from the oil at the outlet of the immersion separator filter is max. It is 2-3 ppm. Lubrication is provided without a pump, by utilizing the pressure difference in the oil tank. Separator tanks are produced specifically for our screw compressors with CE certification.

Air Intake Filter

The air suction filter used in the Lupamat screw compressor is a two-stage, dust-retaining coated and automatic discharge filter, with a paper element that can be easily replaced, Mann+Hummel brand, with an electric indicator.

Cooling System / Radial Fan

In screw compressors, the air aftercooler, which cools the air coming out of the air/oil separator to a maximum temperature of 10-15 °C above the ambient temperature, is coupled with a thermostatic mixing valve-controlled oil cooler, which allows oil to be sent to the screw block at the most appropriate temperature, and cooling is provided by fan air.

Energy savings are achieved thanks to the fan motor and temperature control. The compressed air and oil line is made of hydraulic hose and steel pipes so that it is not affected by vibration and expansion. Our compressors of 75 KW and above are provided with a radial fan suctioned from outside the cabin, which provides more effective cooling of oil and air.

In addition, the radial fan used in screw compressors is activated with an inverter. In this way, it saves energy and allows screw compressors to operate smoothly for many years.

Compressor Cabin Protection

All our screw compressors use mechanically locked compressor cabin protection, whose covers can be opened and removed from all directions, as standard, which facilitates maintenance, control operations and service in accordance with EU regulations and standards. The entire compressor is mounted on the chassis. The interior of the cabin is covered with fireproof sponge material as sound insulation, minimizing the operating noise level.

Hose Connections

“Gates / Vitillo” brand hoses are used in the hydraulic connections of our screw compressors. Hydraulic connection manufacturing is done in our own facility with special machinery and absolute sealing is ensured.

Screw Block

In all our screw compressors, low-speed, efficient, high-quality, energy-saving Aerzener, Gardner Denver and Termomeccanica brand screw blocks, produced with advanced technology, single-stage oil injection, are used.

Drive System: In our LKV-MI type screw compressors, the screw block is V-belt driven by an electric motor and has an easily adjustable belt tensioning system. In LKV-D PLUS, D PREMIUM, LKV DHK PLUS, LKV DHK PREMIUM series compressors, the screw block electric motor is directly coupled via the coupling bell and the power is transferred via coupling. Coupling connection Rexnord / Dodge brand is used. In the LKV DHK PLUS and LKV DHK PREMIUM series, an inverter integrated into the electrical panel is used, which saves energy by changing the speed according to the air requirement.

Adjustable Working Pattern According to Air Consumption (Capacity Control Valve)

In standard screw compressors, optional variable capacity control, which automatically adjusts according to your compressed air usage, is carried out with a proportional control valve. Thanks to this feature, up to 20% energy saving is achieved in the screw compressor.

Heat Recovery

Increasing energy needs worldwide as well as decreasing energy resources lead the manufacturing sector to constantly seek potential energy saving opportunities. Such energy saving is effectively possible in the compression process in compressed air production.

In screw compressors, the heat released after the air and oil are compressed in the screw and the heat generated by the electric motor can be gained as energy. This heat energy is recycled by directing the hot air through the hood and using it for ambient heating. In addition, hot water can be obtained with heat gain exchangers added to the oil and air circuit. The resulting hot water can be used in the process or used as an ambient heater in radiators. Thus, 91% of the discarded heat energy will be recycled.

In Lupamat screw compressors, upon customer request and order, the hot water coming out of the exchanger during the oil cooling process is used in the compressor cabin with a cooling exchanger connection integrated into the system, in industrial use, in the parts washing band, in process heating, in the kitchens of large enterprises, in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, in the warehouse of the enterprise with the heating connection. It can be used for various purposes such as heating of areas such as offices or offices and many other sectors.

The water pipeline connection after the heat exchanger outlet in a water-cooled compressor varies depending on the intended use of the business. This system can be closed circuit or open circuit. This selection is determined by the customer and connections are easily made by the customer. 

Multiple Operating System

In Lupamat screw air compressors, it is possible to operate 6 compressors with a single multiple operating system, depending on the compressed air requirement used in the business.

Energy saving, equal aging or sequential operation can be achieved. For example; Assuming that there are three screw air compressors in the facility, each with different free air efficiency of 22, 45, 75 kW 10 bar; It is possible to operate the compressors alternately according to the compressed air need, according to the parameter values that will be entered into the multiple operating system. With another example; While the daily air need in the facility is mostly provided by a 45 kW compressor, when more compressed air is needed during the day, the 45 kW compressor will switch to standby mode in line with the program, while the 75 kW compressor will be activated, preventing unwanted pauses in production.

In the same situation, if the compressed air produced by the 75 kW compressor is too much, the 75 kW will switch to standby mode, while the 22 kW or 45 kW compressor will be activated depending on the compressed air need. By activating the compressor alternately according to the changing compressed air needs of the business, production interruptions will be prevented and effective energy savings will also be achieved. 

Oil Heater

In our Lupamat screw air compressors, upon customer request and order, ceramic heaters with stainless steel bodies are used to heat the oil circulation system and screw group in seasonal cold weather, to prevent the compressor oil from freezing and to prevent damage to the screw block during startup, and at the same time to ensure that the compressor comes to load more quickly. .

The models used in MI series compressors are controlled by a thermostat that is affected by the ambient temperature. The models used in D, DHK PLUS, DHK PREMIUM series compressors are controlled by microprocessor and oil temperature sensor. Another advantage of the oil heater is that it will prevent condensation in the system during the winter months and will also protect the compressor from corrosion.

Remote Monitoring

Nowadays, with the development of technology, the capabilities of compressors have begun to increase. With this feature, information such as pressure, temperature, operating hours, malfunction, warning and maintenance time of the compressors can be monitored instantly. By monitoring this information, possible malfunctions will be prevented and a better service will be provided. Lupamat compressor users will be able to have this optional service, which will be provided via the internet or SIM card, by adding additional hardware. This system can also be integrated into previously purchased compressors. 

Water Cooling

It is also possible for Lupamat screw compressors to be water-cooled. In compressors with this optional feature, air and oil are cooled by using air/water and oil/water exchangers.

In this system, which is implemented using body/pipe type or plate type exchangers, the compressors can be much quieter since there are no fans. Additionally, since water has much less temperature changes than air, water-cooled compressors can operate more regularly even in the hottest tropical countries.

A cooling tower or chiller is used to cool the water. Actuator valves and flow switches are used to control the water flow in the compressor water circuit. By integrating air/water and air/oil exchangers into production processes, it can also become a heat gain exchanger. 

Water Separator

In the compressed air installation, liquid water formed under the influence of pressure and temperature changes moves along the compressed air line in the form of droplets. If precautions are not taken, these droplets; In pneumatic systems, it causes corrosion, air leaks, valves seizing, etc. They cause serious problems such as:

In order to avoid such possible problems, pressurized air and liquid water should be separated from each other with a water separator. Water separators used before the compressed air dryer also enable the dryer to work more efficiently by taking off some of its load. Condensed water is discharged through automatic drains under the separator.

Automatic Evacuation

Starting from the aftercooler of the air compressor, water separator, air tank, compressed air dryer, line filters, condensed water at the end points of the collector and pipes must be removed from the compressed air system with automatic discharges.

Automatic drains can be implemented with float, timer and electronic level control. When choosing automatic evacuations, care should be taken to minimize air leaks during evacuation.

Soft Starter

During direct start or star-delta start of electric motors used in all piston, screw compressors and other machines, excessive current draw of up to 2-3 times occurs. The electrical network may be affected by this sudden load, causing sudden voltage drops.

In order to prevent these changes, a soft starter is used, which provides a soft start to the electric motor and also eliminates star-delta connections. With this optional feature, the life of the electric motors used is extended and sudden changes in the network are prevented.
