Compressed Air Conditioning -->Sterile Air Filters

In breathable air systems used in the food and pharmaceutical industry and hospitals where compressed air comes into contact with the product, the compressed air must be absolutely sterile. In order to sterilize the compressed air, solid particles, water vapor and oil vapor in the compressed air must first be removed with a conditioning system consisting of line filters and a desiccant dryer. After all this conditioning equipment, sterile filters should be used at final points before application to ensure that the compressed air is sterile.
Parker domnick hunter sterile filters with membrane structure provide 100% filtration (absolute filtration)These are filters with the feature. The cartridges of these filters can be autoclaved or SIP (Steam In Place)It is also manufactured suitable for application.
The bodies of sterile air filters are made of stainless steel and have threaded and clamp connection options. Sterile filters should either be used at the final points before application, or the pipeline after the sterile filter should be made with stainless steel pipes. Because the air, which is completely free of microorganisms after passing through the sterile filter, should not be re-contaminated with any contamination that may be introduced into the pipeline.
Compressed Air Sampling Kit
Compressed air has become inevitable in industrial pharmaceutical, food and cosmetic production processes with the development of technology and automation; It can threaten product quality with bacterial contaminations (mold, yeast, bacteria, spores, viruses, etc.). Although the 0.2 micron membrane filters used in this type of sensitive processes provide 100% efficiency, quality management systems such as GMP, BRC, FDA, HACCP, ISO 22000 require control of production quality. It requires taking samples from compressed air at certain periods.
Thanks to the Compressed Air Sampling Kit (CAMTU-Compressed Air Microbial Test Unit) developed by Parker & Balston, which allows taking samples from high line pressure practically and easily, the necessary laboratory tests can be carried out safely by taking samples from desired points within the factory into petri dishes.
Since the test unit is offered as a complete set, it can be applied to all kinds of lines up to 10.3 barg pressure without the need for any extra equipment.
